Extra Baggage under your Eyes!

Posted on 23 March 2009

Just as we are reluctant about carrying heavy baggage with us everywhere we go, so we are about the “extra baggage” under our eyes. You will be surprised to know that this problem emanates from your genes and DNA. The advent of this starts happening at around thirty years. However not all eye bags occur because of this. They may also point out to an underlying condition such as sinus problems, malfunctioning of the kidneys and urinary tract infections.

Our kidneys are one of the excretory organs of our body that helps us in flushing out wastes and toxins. We need to drink plenty of water in order to help them do so. Also, go ahead and decrease the amount of caffeine that you ingest every day. Start your day on a healthy note with luke-warm water and a dash of lemon.

As the skin around our eyes is extremely fragile any wear and tear immediately shows up out there. You have several options of getting rid of these unsightly under eye bags that are by surgery, cosmetic intervention or healthy lifestyle adoption.

Some things that have been tested and their value validated are the plain old potato and cucumber. Both these seem to be like wonder ingredients for the skin around your eyes.

Moreover, the under eye bags could result out of toxins found within your body. The body gets rid of toxins and impurities in a cyclical and periodic fashion. If you were to draw an analogy then it would be with the shedding of the skin by a snake to get a new one.

Here are the various parameters that affect the skin under the eye:

Lifestyle changes:

· Don’t get stressed by learning techniques to handle it

· Plenty of water should be your mantra

· Don’t drink extremely cold water
