Imagine waking up at your big day, taking a close look at the mirror just to find out that your dark circles are darker than ever, and your eye bags baggier than ever. You might wish it was a dream, but deep inside you know that it is as real as a Milky Way bar, and that there is no amount of makeup that will make it disappear. The truth of the matter is - You can’t cure yourself of these bags unless you know of the reason behind them.

Let us list the reasons of these irritating dark circles and under eye bags:
• Lack of sleep. In the busy lives that you live you find that one lifetime is not enough to squeeze in everything that you ever want to do. Hence, in order to gain more time you cut down on the number of hours that you sleep. This overall affects your mind, body and the skin. You move around like zombies with really dark circles around your eyes.
• You’re DNA and chromosomes affect you in several ways and this is one of them. If your family members have these concerns then you are more likely to inherit them. Also, some people’s skin hues are more likely to get darker and are also more sensitive. In that case you just need to take extra care of them.
• Age is always a concern and rightly so in this instance. Age and dark circles and puffiness around the eye area seem to go together. As your age gravity really begins to pull you down and so with the skin around your eyes. The area loses its elasticity and the fill of collagen no longer continues to happen on a continuous bases. This leaves your skin with lose bags and puffiness. Your muscles too begin to give way and this further aggravates the concern.
Now that you know the three main reasons; let us think of ways to overcome these:
• For day to day skin care regime you can try and hide these with the use of the right cosmetic help that is available. You could try concealers and skin tone enhancers. Go ahead and try the several face packs that you can pick up. Also, you can think of trying the hemorrhoid cream which is renowned for reducing puffiness and fluid retention around the eye area.
• For a far reaching effect you can go for surgery. A surgeon can offer you injections which will be effective for about three quarters of the year before you go in for another fill. Restalyne is an oft repeated chemical used to reduce the sagging of the skin and increase the collagen level.
• Blepharoplasty is a surgery that can help you with certain nicks and tucks especially near the eyes. This surgery might not be affordable by one and all as it is quite expensive. In addition to the cost factor it also includes the risk of surgery. But the plus point of it is that it will keep your under eye area free from any troubles for the next twenty years.
