All about Those Facial Wrinkles

Why are some people more prone to wrinkles than the others around them? If you have ever wondered this then we have some of the answers for you right here:

· Age is one defining factor about the number of wrinkles you have. The older you get the numbers added on are not only to your age but also to the fine lines you have around your jaws and eyes and of course not to forget the forehead. As, the fat in the skin, starts getting lesser, the secretion of the oil glands reduce. This in return robs your skin off the suppleness and plumpness that it once had. The overall flexibility of the skin reduces and wrinkles tend to take their place. Hence, all that you are left with are sagging bags of empty layers of skin.

· Out in the sun too often and it is going to be harmful for your skin. The ultra violet rays and too much of unprotected contact with it you are bound to get more wrinkles than you already have. The collagen and elastic in the skin gets replenished less and less as one ages. The out in the sunlight is more harmful than beneficial to get your daily dose of vitamin D. In case you are a sun lover and can’t do without your daily dose of sunshine then you do need to use a good sun block cream to at least withstand the formation of wrinkles.

· You will be surprised to know that smoking rings in the air might seem trendy; however, it is extremely harmful to your skin. It actually makes your skin look older than it should. It also makes one develop more wrinkles than a non-smoker would have. The reason for this could be that continuous smoking goes on to restrict the blood vessels and hence the skin loses its suppleness and flexibility further. Smokers have it bad in various health departments and the skin is one of them too. The wrinkles on the face of a smoker are the kind that is deeply entrenched and hard to go away.

· Facial expressions: If you had attended Speech and Drama classes ever you will certainly know how important facial expressions are. Everyone knows that in order to sound expressive one does need to use facial expressions. However, they aren’t a real welcome thing for your skin. Too many habitual facial expressions such as wrinkling up your nose, frowning, or just squinting or peering to look at things more closely will goad you on to develop permanent wrinkles. Many people develop these over the years without realizing so. Once they look in the mirror and see these permanent lines etched on their faces they go looking for reasons.

So there it is. We have mentioned some of the reasons why facial wrinkles occur, and some of the things you may want to avoid if you are not really “into” wrinkles (and who is these days?). Many things can be said about wrinkles, but perhaps the main thing to remember is – no matter what you do, don’t forget the sunscreen.
